FROM CHANGES THROUGH QUALITY EDUCATION TO KNOWLEDGE AS CAPITAL
Changes are an integral part of the past, the present and the future. At all times, they were not performed at the same speed, strength, way, and above all, what they brought and left behind. Many theorists and practitioners agree with the statement that the changes have never been faster and brought as much new things as today. It's no longer a question of the time period during the year, or the month, it is already about minutes and seconds. Changes are closely related to knowledge. Knowledge is one of the most important, if not the most important resource in terms of all spheres of work and human life. It is well known saying that the knowledge is power, and it has never got so much importance as it is today. Knowledge has never become so obsolete as today. The rapid development of information technology and technological development has contributed to transferring, expanding, and deepening of knowledge. It all requires lifelong learning and keeping up with the times. . But this again requires that we constantly have to learn, acquire knowledge, go along with it, or better to say, go towards changes and knowledge. "Knowledge workers"are more and more highly priced. Research shows that, in all developed countries, two thirds of the population will soon become "knowledge workers". These are people who have the knowledge and ability to organize knowledge and adequate guidance, productive use of knowledge. They are those that the organizations in which they work make as the "learning organizations". The most important thing in every change is knowledge. It is therefore necessary to know how to manage the changes so that knowledge really becomes capital. Unused, inefficient knowledge is dead capital. That is why it is necessary to give importance to knowledge and changes from a very young age. The paper discusses the importance of quality education, the promotion of knowledge and the importance of changes in elementary school. Although knowledge is acquired both before and after primary school, it plays a very important role in acquiring knowledge. Elementary school is an institution where knowledge is acquired for eight years, and this is not a meaningless period of life. If a period of seven years is subtracted, when a child goes to elementary school until 15/16 years of age when they finish and observe it from the psycho-physical development of the personality, but also from the social, cultural, ethical and all others, the conclusion is that such changes occur in that period which are then of great importance for the whole life. During this period, attitudes, styles, modes, methods are formed, and all this is important for knowledge, and therefore for changes. Developed countries have invested heavily in education because it is the driver of the economic, social, cultural development of society and the individual. They have introduced such changes that resulted in a better quality of education systems. Our country is in transition and it is only trying to do what developed countries have realized is the importance of education. Changes have been introduced to our educational system many times, but they have not yielded the desired results. Last year, significant, if not radical changes to our educational system were introduced . This also applies to elementary school as an important part of the education system.
