Abstract

Sandzak-Bosniak and Montenegrin writer Husein Basic inspired by the tragic assault of Bosniaks after the withdrawal of the Ottomans from the territory of Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro creates a five-book Replacement. The topics contained in Bašić's works represent an exhaustive chronicle of that time, a chronicle seen through the fate of the individual and his life. Through Bašić's hero Ibrahim Žioca a collective drama of Bosniaks in general will be shown, because this is a man of everyday life; his destiny is in any place and in any place, with the same burden and the same fate. Universities of the motives of human tragedy by Bašić's works are reflected in the intellectual, ethical, sociological, historical, psychological and ethnographic sphere.
