MODERN TENDENCIES IN NUTRITION INSTRUCTOR TRAINING – ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
The knowledge in the sphere of foods and nutrition is of utmost importance for human health protection. Food may serve as a preventive, and as a risk factor. With Bulgaria’s accession to the European Union and amendment of legislation on national and European level, the change in the sphere of training and education, and the high requirements on labour market, made the training of medical specialists on fundamental knowledge in the sphere of foods and nutrition necessary. This material is a SWOT analysis of the training of this type of specialists. The advantages and disadvantages in their education are evaluated.
