Abstract

The concept of intercultural identity in the field of theory is treated from the aspect of intercultural communications within the cultural identity. Cultural identity is a general concept when it comes to intercultural communications within the disciplines of social sciences. When we talk about the concept of interculturalism within the modern notions, we need to take into account its global aspect, its navigation around the world driven by new technologies, the transmission and reception of information that are essential part of communication, diversity and transition, which is manifested. through the prefix itself (inter). Intercultural transitions have always been present, be it the problematic dialogue of colonialism, or today's heteroglossia of the Internet. This paper aims at surveying the theory of multiculturalism and its relevance as a solution with regard to identity politics, and shifting to a more inclusive approach, that of interculturalism.
