Abstract

Organizations today need global leaders capable of navigating in and through diverse cultural
environments. An increasing number of studies in recent years have addressed issues related to intercultural and
global leadership development. Unfortunately, there are still many organizations and institutions that do not
understand the importance of intercultural communication skills in order to increase leadership competence. Many
studies prove that intercultural communication plays a significant role in enhancing these competencies.
