Abstract

The somatic, mental and emotional characteristics of patients undergoing COVID-19, popularly known as "Long-term COVID-19 syndrome", have recently been officially named "Post-acute Covid-19 syndrome". The therapy of "Long-term COVID-19 syndrome" requires an experienced multidisciplinary team, an individualized approach and long-term respiratory rehabilitation. Pulmonary rehabilitation (BR) is a scientifically based, multidisciplinary comprehensive program aimed at patients with chronic respiratory diseases, who are most often with reduced overall motor activity. The aim of the study is to check the current literature data related to pulmonary rehabilitation in hospital, outpatient and home settings. Materials and methods: The studies were found by searching the following database: Google, Reserge gate, Pubmed. Results: According to the sources we reviewed, breathing exercises and dosed physical activity can help prevent or reduce the severity of symptoms from the respiratory system and improve its functions. Conclusion: Rehabilitation (in particular - respiratory rehabilitation) is an integral part of the methods of recovery after Covid.
