Abstract

Social Responsibility and Ethics in Business, where we say that Business is one of the institutions that have contributed the most to the quality of human life. Business has been the main driving force that has enabled millions of people to live their lives in a rich, healthy, rational world. While Ethics is related to the principles that guide the behavior of an individual or a certain group of individuals, in this context the term Personal Ethics is used, Professional, also the discipline of Ethics differs from other disciplines, theoretical study in the field of Ethics deals with judgments, the moral assessments used in the process of making moral decisions as well as the decision that is taken is a moral decision and the assessment of the fact, is a moral judgment that participates in making this decision. To better understand social responsibility means that individuals and enterprises have a duty to act in the best interest of their environment and society as a whole, also social responsibility as it applies to business it is known as corporate social responsibility or Social Responsibility of Corporations (CSR), but the essence of this theory is to adopt policies that promote an ethical balance between the dual mandates of profit-seeking and the benefit of society as a whole. The ability to understand and apply moral standards does not arise together with man, but just as physical, emotional or cognitive abilities develop along with the growth and maturity of the individual, so do the individual's ability to deal with moral issues. Social responsibility to consumers is in the state legislation that controls trade relations between businesses and the public, but an example is the UK Unfair Conditions Act, which focuses mainly on banning businesses from taking advantage of contracts with customers and unreasonably benefited from them, where for example, banks are prohibited from imposing unreasonably high rates on customers who are late with mortgage payments, where this is how legislation prevents customers from experiencing difficulties from business organizations
