Abstract

Modern society is subject to constant changes in the process of education. There is a constant need for deepening new knowledge, skills, active participation of the student in the educational process, participation in projects, workshops in order to improve modern education. Here the rapid development of IT technology is of particular importance. The quality of modern education largely depends on the competencies of the teacher and other school staff, how ready they are for change and how they deal with new challenges. Depending on which area is subject to change, we notice that we have the most visible changes in areas in the process of education and learning. We are in a period when teachers and students are facing new challenges. Teachers provide distance learning content (or popularly online) and use applications such as Skype, Youtube, Meet and Zoom that enable video conferencing. They skillfully use a bunch of interesting tools in their work and applications: Kahoot, Quizizz, Nearpod, Padlet, Moodle.In this modern day, the use of the Internet has become our dominant way of accessing information and communication. "Modern society is constantly changing the education system with a dominant approach to information and thus forming a new type of teachers - innovative creators." The purpose of our paper is to discover the challenges that innovative teaching offers to students and teachers of primary education, using modern and interesting tools and applications in their work. While the focus of the paper is on the role of the class teacher in the field of innovative teaching. As a conclusion from this paper are the positive aspects of innovative teaching for both students and the class teacher.
