Abstract

The criminal act "Robbery" in the Criminal Code is provided in Article 237 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Macedonia and as a complex crime is the most typical form of classic property offenses with pronounced elements of coercion.
Property crime is a set of criminal activities that attack other people's property in order to obtain illegal property gain. Property crimes belong to the classic crime and this type of crime is known to almost all socio-economic formations. Due to its frequency, property crimes are the most common type. of crimes and in total crime account for half of all crimes committed. Lately, this type of crime is on a high place in the scale of the total number of committed crimes in the Republic of Northern Macedonia and with this paper I will try to contribute to a better and more comprehensive crime of robbery. In this paper also I will try to address the notion and characteristics of this crime and its similarities and differences with the crime of robbery
