THE ROLE AND SELECTION OF VOCAL TRAINING PIECES IN CHINESE NATIONAL CHORAL

Chorus is a form of multi-part music expression. Targeted voice training songs can effectively solve problems such as breathing, timbre, pronunciation, range expansion, etc.These exercises allow choir members to connect with the emotions conveyed in choral works, enabling them to express the substance of the compositions with suitable voices and enhancing the efficiency of choir rehearsals. There are some differences between Chinese choral music and Western choral singing methods in singing methods. Therefore, the selection of vocal training songs in choral training also needs to take into account the particularity of the nation.This article will analyze the role of chorus vocal exercises, select vocal exercises according to the different characteristics of the choir, and arrange vocal exercises according to the performance form of specific works.
