Abstract

The health, economic, and energy crisis caused major changes in the work of enterprises. In that direction, the impact of climate change imposed the need to introduce changes in the work of enterprises and work policies in enterprises to develop a concept that will focus on the efficient use of natural resources and the creation of conditions for sustainable development.
Global current working conditions are generally characterized by many challenges of a social, economic, and environmental nature that affect living conditions and the lives of today and future generations.
Therefore, to control the influence of global phenomena in the work of small and medium-sized enterprises, it is necessary to change the policies that are traditionally applied in the work. Solving the modern challenges faced by enterprises in the course of work consists in finding answers to questions related to business sustainability and the introduction of so-called "green innovations". To achieve business sustainability, enterprises need to implement a dynamic organizational structure that will enable enterprises to adapt and survive in a changing environment. The dynamic, i.e. adjustable, organizational structure contributes to enterprises achieving sustainability in their work, especially enterprises that belong to the group of small and medium enterprises.
To implement the so-called "green policies" in the work of enterprises, it is necessary to redefine the mission and vision of the enterprise as well as the work strategy.
Green policies are the basic tools for applying the concept of green economy. Therefore, the research object of this paper is aimed at analyzing the characteristics of the so-called "green concept of work of enterprises", etc. "green policies" to support and implement green businesses among SMEs.
The implementation of green policies and the application of the concept of green economy contribute to the achievement of sustainable development through the creation of green jobs and the use of natural resources.
The basic hypothesis of the research consists of understanding the possibilities for the application of the so-called "green policies." In the conclusion of the paper, will be given recommendations, and measures to improve the current situation.
