Abstract

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, last year in most countries, traffic decreased and the economy slowed down significantly, social networks were full of photos showing a significant reduction in river, air pollution… Turquoise canals in Venice, clear rivers, wildlife on city streets , less harmful gases over China, as noted by NASA. How are things nine months later? Did kovid 19 really awaken nature globally and did it have a positive impact on the environment and to what extent? We can't say for sure yet, because the pandemic is still going on. We can only talk about forecasts. For example, one study predicts that due to kovida 19, greenhouse gas emissions in the United States will fall to the lowest level in the last three decades this year. The complete closure of factories and traffic contributed to this picture. By gradually easing the measures, the level of emissions into the atmosphere returns, as well as the generation of solid waste, and with it the costs of their environmental disposal. A new category of waste has appeared, "protective masks and spacesuits", which greatly complicate waste management. The best solution for the treatment of potentially injectable waste and plastic that is everywhere has not yet been found.
