IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC ON TEACHING CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the teachers opinions on online teaching. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using online survey methods. The sample collection method uses simple random sampling. The sample of this study is active teachers of Tetova University. This survey was completed and submitted by 39 teachers however the same was sent to a bigger number of teachers. The results of the data analysis obtained from the submitted responses can be concluded that the online teaching process carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been well managed, sufficient tools have been used to motivate students, although missuses of the circumstances have been present. This data also shows that the preferred teaching of teachers is the one with physical presence, where 61.5% of teachers share this opinion, while 35.9% of them prefer combined teaching.
