Abstract

The textbook for the mother tongue language for the first grade is an essential pedagogical tool aimed at stimulating the development of communicative skills in students at the initial stages of their education. Dedicated to activities that enhance the ability to read, write, and understand language in various contexts, the textbook serves as a foundation for building linguistic literacy. One of the key elements of the textbook is its focus on literature and media literacy. This component enables students to develop their skills in critical analysis and interpretation of various types of texts. Through this, students are introduced to different aspects of standardized language, including grammatical and orthographic rules, which are important for their academic development and language literacy. The textbook is also designed to be appealing and age-appropriate for the students, ensuring engagement and interest in the learning process. This characteristic is crucial in supporting active student participation, contributing to their overall academic and personal development. Through this approach, the textbook not only provides knowledge and skills in language but also prepares students for effective interpersonal communication and understanding of the broader world around them.
