Abstract

As a treatment we define this diet, which corresponds to the organism damaged by the disease. It aims to quickly restore the damaged organs and systems of man through a balanced diet. Among the diseases of the liver the most common are inflammatory diseases - hepatitis, and among the diseases of the gallbladder and bile ducts - cholecystitis, gallstone disease and others. They are acute and chronic conditions that affect the liver and bile ducts. Acute conditions include acute viral hepatitis and exacerbated liver cirrhosis, in all diseases with manifestations of liver failure, pre-hepatic coma, acute cholecystitis and acute cholangiohepatitis, in conditions after surgery of the liver and bile ducts. Chronic conditions include chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis in remission, chronic cholecystitis, cholangiohepatitis, gallstone disease and others. Dietary nutrition in these diseases is one of the most important factors for treatment and prevention, as the hepatobiliary system occupies an important place in the processes of absorption of nutrients and their metabolism. The purpose of the diet is to restore impaired hepatic and biliary functions, as well as to protect biliolithiasis. The diet of patients should be varied, complete, high in calories, contain increased amounts of vitamins A, C, B1, B2, B6, B12, as well as rich in cellulose, with increased fluid intake, which improves bile flow and peristalsis. of the GIT. In the present study were analyzed and reported the quality of life of patients who sought specialized medical care in the surgical ward and after mastering the acute phase, referred to a specialist in nutrition and dietetics to prepare an individual diet.

The results of multidisciplinary treatment show a marked improvement in the quality of life of patients with biliary and hepatic problems and prove the essential role of therapeutic nutrition in diseases of the hepatobiliary system.
