Abstract

The subject of the article are some forms of reflexive verbs, which have been studied in many ways and in depth in various studies. Despite their detailed study, many of the issues related to them remain debatable to this day. The first important problem is whether they are verb forms or individual words (tokens). There are also different views on the possibility of forms or verbs to express transitivity or not. These issues are not addressed in the article. The interest is mainly focused on the mutual relations in the expression of the reciprocal meaning. The article discusses the meaning of forms and their use. Only the direct, irreversible and mutual meanings of the verb forms are the subject of research. Passive, impersonal, and emphatic meaning are out of focus in this study.
